I live in Horsley, Derbyshire with my husband; an artist himself, our three fantastic children, dog - Rosie, cat - Tipsy,  and our two chickens - Flower & Nutty. I also own a gorgeous Highland Pony - Sammy - he does not live with us but is not far away.

I am extremely lucky to live in such a delightful part of the world; being surrounded by countryside and animals is a joy for me I try not to take for granted.

As well as my Pet Portrait business I also work part-time as a secondary school teacher of Design Technology. I have taught for over ten years now but still enjoy producing work of my own.

I also have a passion for scrap-booking, and teach/run workshops in the area. I have had a life-long passion for horses and with a background in art and photography; I have a BA (Hons) in Art & Design, I am able to bring together my artistic talents and my love of animals, to create unique, yet affordable Pet Portraits for horse and animal lovers everywhere.

I create my Pet Portraits using a variety of mixed/digital media, to bring to life your horse or pets personality.  I work with a graphics tablet and digital pen to replicate a variety of artist media - watercolour, pastel etc. I also often use traditional pastels to add final details to portraits.

All Pet Portraits are printed onto high quality Fine Art paper, using the latest technology and pigment inks to give gallery quality results that will not fade.

To produce a Pet Portrait I require a clear photograph of your horse or pet,  or preferably a couple, so I can get a true feel for your pets unique characteristics.
